Software Engineer · Backend · AI · Full-Stack

I build software that solves real problems.

Backend systems, AI and automation, web and mobile apps — in production since 2021. Currently a software engineer at Poetistic.

3s → ~1sResponse latency

HumanAI · 2025

Real-time voice AI agent

An AI agent people talk to out loud. For that to work, it has to reply fast enough to feel like a conversation.

What I built
The agent's backend in Python and FastAPI, with LiveKit carrying the real-time audio, and the latency work across that path.
Impact
The pause before the agent starts replying went from ~3s to ~1s.
Stack
Python · FastAPI · LiveKit

5–10GBPer CSV file

JustGetLeads · 2025

Data engine for very large CSVs

A browser tool for working with CSV files of 5–10GB — far too big to open in a spreadsheet.

What I built
The processing pipeline: files are read in chunks so they never have to fit in memory at once, stored as Parquet for fast column reads, and worked through in the background with Django, Celery and Redis.
Stack
Python · Django · Celery · Redis · Parquet

50+Locations tracked live

Smart India Hackathon · 2024

Rescue Connect

A live coordination map for rescue agencies, so they can see every unit at once during an operation.

What I built
A React and Redux app on Mapbox that tracks units across 50+ locations in real time, with round-the-clock monitoring.
Impact
Winning entry at Smart India Hackathon 2024.
Stack
React · Redux · Mapbox

40–60%Business growth

Freelance

Kuldeep Poultry

Operations software for a poultry company that works with a network of farmers.

What I built
A Django backend and React Native app that replaced phone calls and paper registers with one place for orders, stock and farmer records.
Impact
Far fewer human errors in orders and records. With every farmer tracked in one place, the team could focus on them properly, and the business grew 40–60%.
Stack
Django · React Native

Paper → AppSales process digitised

Freelance

Manita Collection

A clothing business that ran its sales on paper, moved online end to end.

What I built
The online store and the order management behind it, on a Django backend with a React Native app.
Stack
Django · React Native

Trainer / MemberRole-based views

JustGetLeads · 2025

Deep

A fitness tracking product where trainers and members each get their own view.

What I built
Role-based access, workout planning, and progress tracking with charts.
Stack
React · Firebase

Software Engineer

Poetistic · Remote Now

Poetistic is a poetry publishing platform. I migrated its frontend from Nuxt 2 to Nuxt 3, worked on page performance, and build the Laravel APIs behind it, including multi-language publishing.

Jun 2025 — Nov 2025

Software Engineer

HumanAI · Remote

Built the backend for a real-time voice AI agent in Python, FastAPI and LiveKit, cutting response latency from ~3s to ~1s. Also halved CI/CD build time (~4m → ~2m) and built the server-rendered Next.js landing page.

Feb 2025 — May 2025

Python Developer Intern

JustGetLeads · Remote

Built a browser-based data engine for 5–10GB CSV files using chunked processing, Parquet, Redis and Django/Celery. Also built Deep, a role-based fitness tracker.

Mar 2024 — Aug 2024

Software Developer Intern

Figleo Web Services · Hybrid

Built process-automation software for a steel-industry client in React, Django and PostgreSQL, replacing manual steps in their workflow. Also wrote Google Apps Script tools for invoicing and outreach.

Freelance Developer

Independent · Remote Now

Designed and built 12+ full-stack projects end to end, mostly for small businesses: marketing sites, e-commerce, billing and inventory systems, and an immigration client-intake portal. Usually FastAPI, Flask or Django behind React, Next.js or React Native.

01

I find the real problem before I write code.

A ticket often describes a symptom. I'd rather spend an hour finding what's actually slow, manual or breaking than a week fixing the wrong thing.

02

I measure before and after.

For performance work I take a baseline first — latency, load time, build time — so I can show whether a change helped instead of assuming it did.

03

I keep systems simple enough to maintain.

Fewer moving parts, plain naming, familiar tools where they do the job. The next person to open the code — often me — should be able to follow it.

04

I raise trade-offs early.

Short, clear updates while the work is in progress, so a wrong assumption or a blocker comes up in week one rather than at the deadline.

Problem solving

900+ LeetCode problems solved, 140+ of them Hard.

That's where my algorithms background comes from, and it shows up in everyday work — choosing the right data structure, and knowing how code behaves as the input grows.

Location

Based in Gurugram, India. Open to remote roles.

Four of my five roles so far have been remote, including the one I'm in now — working with teams and clients across the US, Europe and Asia.

If you're hiring, I'd like to hear from you.
